As he investigates, going to crime scenes and crossing paths with corrupt police detective, Federico Paniagua (Enrique Arreola), he sees that he’s followed by someone in a hoodie. He chases the person but can’t catch up; he sees a Polaroid someone took and sees it’s a woman with a ponytail. thanks to a top from Gomez, he tracks her to a stock car racetrack; she was following him because she wanted to make sure he wasn’t the killer.
