Brooklyn Nine-Nine (season 8) Detective Rosa Diaz is a tough and patient colleague. Detective Charles Boyle, Jake’s close friend who also has a crush on Rosa. Detective Sergeant Terry Jefffords, who was recently taken off the field following the birth of his twin daughters, and Ironic District Superintendent Gina Lineetti – underage detective Jake Peralta, Captain. Ray Holt takes over Brooklyn’s 99th District, including Detective Jake Peralta, a talented but carefree detective who has done whatever he wants. Other employees of District 99, Detective Amy Santiago, have been a successful and competitive partner.
