Dakota (2022) Single mother and newly widowed Kate Sanders (Abbie Cornish) lives on a family farm in Georgia with her daughter Alex (Lola Sultan). Life on the farm is challenging, and things get more complicated as the dogs fight. Dakota is arrived at his doorstep by Sergeant CJ Malcolm (Tim Rozon). CJ fulfills a promise made to his friend and fellow Afghan war veteran Marine Clay Sanders (K’s late husband). and Alex’s father) to bring Dakota home if he dies.

Kate spends time between farms and the Dakota Volunteer Fire Department, watching over her family and becoming a local hero who helps the city. Meanwhile, the local sheriff (Patrick Muldoon) learns an old secret that’s been buried long ago. that the Sanders Farm was valuable and depended on Kate to sell it.

The sheriff will not stop taking over their territory. With the help of her daughter Alex and Dakota Alex’s new best friend. Kate realizes the true value of the farm. Dakota teaches Alex that there is nothing better than a dog as a best friend.
