Prior Convictions (2022) HD  A boy struggles to find his way out of an environment of rampant youth unemployment and a crumbling social welfare system in Kishi’s ‘Wilderness’ series, but may also be deeply psychological in the full-length ‘Prior Convictions’. Kishi’s latest is a bit of both: the film explores the shortcomings of Japan’s law enforcement while also telling the story of how a rough childhood can have long-term implications.
